I dont know you, but im asking anyway. ^ That is why you should know someone before you care about them. Has nothing to do with me being a jerk. I simply dont care. Me not caring about your problems is the greatest compliment youll get as you age.

But if you were, I would be empathetic and supportive, but would not give you money. Likewise, I care that this Youtuber struggles with depression, and have a lot of sympathy for him, but that doesn’t mean I would send him money to help if he asked (which he has not done). Not sure what you mean by “as you age.”
