Sure ...if Titan get the agility, invisibility, dodge, precision jump as well.
See.. if you do that, now the class identity become messy.
Titan is melee and brute force class.
Hunter is based on agility and gun playing.
Just play every class accordingly.
PS:
Is it Funny I am the only Titan here and those that reply on my comment all Hunters at least 7 of them...!!
Where are my Titan fellow??
Come on help me here. 1 Titan against 7 Hunters???
They all have far higher K/D than mine..!!
Just kidding...I love Hunter...you can kill me 100 times with your gun...but when I smack my punch on your face...priceless...:)
For me...1 shoulder charge kill far more fun than 100 Gun precision kills...

Don't worry, your're not the only Titan main here, I always do Code of the Missile (Thundercrash) when I play.

It has nothing to go with identity. The fact that it takes time to charge( run and slide) is the same effort as a titan melee. same damage should be rewarded. otherwise there is no point using it over a normal melee. lol, you want to make it a class thing, how come titans can skate? Even warlocks are faster than hunters. Not to mention you can literally fly with a sword......
-
Titan and warlock can be faster than Hunter. Hunter is Agility based class. Strught line speed is not equal as Agility
-
Yo fellow Titan, I got you
-
Thanks Lee...! Lets punch all these invisible creatures ...we can do this..:)
-
Well, i've been 1 shot out of my super by enough titans... that I think its unfair. Again thou, Titan are bungies baby, and hunters the red head step child they keep in barn. Are dagger do next to no damage, burn on grenades does next to nothing. Most of supers have no armor... Players can stand on a tripmine grenade, emote and take 1/4 of bar while taking a flag.... heaven forbid I go near it...it'll one shot me but not anyone else. >_> I always feel like unwanted child as a Hunter..... like Bungie will delete are class any patch now.

If hoonter get one thing titan want many thing. You have mobility armor.

Edited by ShadowAnarchist: 10/2/2018 7:43:14 PMResponding to your edit, There's been plenty of titan mains giving their opinion and a lot even being in agreement with the topic. They just haven't replied to you.

Edited by Muka Gatals: 10/2/2018 8:22:50 PMSaid by another Hunter main...LOL Anyway...I have tons of thumb-ups even with millions of thumb-downs by Hunters..still plus 3

Wow, congrats on missing my point entirely.

Sorry English is not my native language...Can you imagine I did finish some raids in D1 with this broken English? LOL Don't worry I pay tax and vote for Trump because I agree with many of His points.
-
Lol! Thumbs up.
-
Lol. It's fine if English isn't your first language. My point was that in your edit you were asking where other titans were at since most of the responses were hunters, and I was saying that if you read all the replies, there are plenty of titans that have responded to the topic overall.

Okay so why are titans the fastest class in the game via titan skating? I thought hunters are the one who are agile?
-
Mig 25 is faster than F16 F16 more agile than Mig 25 Tank is faster than Squirrel Squirrel more agile than Tank Speed != Agile
-
Agility and speed are different words for a reason.
-
It feels like people don't realize that titans can use their hammer/shield/shoulder charge pretty much like a hunter dodge...
-
It feels like you didn't understand what I wrote.

Titan is melee and brute force class. Hunter is based on agility and gun playing. Just play every class accordingly.
OK bud. Class identity doesn't exist. That's one of Many things bungie did horribly wrong. For starters, at the beginning of destiny 2 Bungee gave Arc strider hunters melee a fist. Why a fist? Boxing people is a titan thing. They are supposed to represent brute force where hunters should represent stealth, precision, agility, and assassination. If that's true why the hell were hunters given a whole subclass tree dedicated to punching people in their face? That's just not hunter like. Second, minor but I'll say it anyway. They took away gunslingers trance. That was the perfect ability representing what a true hunter does. Third, simply put, Stat wise hunters are and should be Excell in agility while titans should Excell in resilience and warlocks in recovery. So why is it that the one thing that could make hunter a unique class is given to the other two. Warlocks and titans are both way faster than hunters for some reason. If bungie just made each class do and Excell in different areas they would feel unique. Instead hunter is just a watered down version of the other two classes. Last, titans were given a throwing hammer that is way better than throwing knife. You'd think that it'd be safe to say that hunters deserve to be the only class that can throw a weapon (knife) at you because we're assassins/Rouges. Instead bungie creates titans throwy hammer that can be picked up and reused as many times as they want. Are you kidding me? So you take yet another thing that made hunters unique and gave it to another class? Im starting to think they don't like hunters. I know I picked things that compare to just hunter but that's only because I have one character and don't know the similarities between titan and Warlock too well. I'm sure there are some. My point is bungie didn't do a good job at separating classes for uniqueness and establishing roles. Edit
just realizing my second pint has nothing to do with the topic at all. Lol. I was just annoyed sorry
Well to be honest in D2...I don't play other class as often as Titan. I like to punch/melee. So since D1 I always do the melee in PVP and PVE. Even in the Y1 D2 when took 3 melee to kill for a Titan. And garbage Shoulder Charge. Still manage more than 3000 melee kills in Y1 PVP. And one time I use the Hunter Arc...It could 2 Hit melee kill a Titan...!! I did not complain anything. At least in D1...when I use the Hunter...I can feel the huge different in agility and easier to land any precision shot.

Edited by S_A_M_A_D_: 10/2/2018 6:17:17 PMI don't see your point
-
My point is...I agree with you that in D2 class identity are screwed. They watered down everything. I like the Y1, Y2 D1. When Titan was Titan, Hunter was Hunter Warlock was warlock. Heck...they watered down everything in D2 to make up the PVP. Titan was underpowered in Y1,Y2 D1 PVP. Hunter dominated PVP. But I still like the Titan. Play for fun ...not for my K/D
-
Oh ok. I agree. Even in d1 I feel there wasn't a clear distinction between classes but you're right it's more apparent in D2.

You’re a bit off there. Hunters are precision based, not just guns. Hunters have always had a melee sub. Hunters carry knives for more than just throwing. But yeah one big OHK hit doesn’t really fit the class for melee style, but is far easier to put in the game than the alternative. Ideally I’d give the melee a quick follow up hit from holding the button. So directly hit enemies would be popped up into the air and quickly finished off by either repeated rapid strikes (has a long duration if held), or alternatively an overhead slam from holding. So basically the melee would become a set up and execute combo.
