And I'm not talking about the wave that's sent out. Specifically only an enemy in close proximity. It's only fair since titans can do exactly that as well, plus they have insurmountable skullfort to just keep the one shots coming.
Edit: To clarify, when I said one shot kill in close range, I mean like physical contact range, like you'd be for a regular melee

3 RepliesYou're all thinking about the uppercut wrong... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MEzJd8xUk9U

No, but throwing knife precision should

41 RepliesEdited by Muka Gatals: 10/2/2018 6:21:18 PMSure ...if Titan get the agility, invisibility, dodge, precision jump as well. See.. if you do that, now the class identity become messy. Titan is melee and brute force class. Hunter is based on agility and gun playing. Just play every class accordingly. PS: Is it Funny I am the only Titan here and those that reply on my comment all Hunters at least 7 of them...!! Where are my Titan fellow?? Come on help me here. 1 Titan against 7 Hunters??? They all have far higher K/D than mine..!! Just kidding...I love Hunter...you can kill me 100 times with your gun...but when I smack my punch on your face...priceless...:) For me...1 shoulder charge kill far more fun than 100 Gun precision kills...

5 RepliesI think all the classes should have a one shot kill that can be used every once in a while. Titans shoulder charger, hunter throwing knife and warlock hold in a grenade.

4 RepliesEdited by CGerrex: 10/3/2018 4:26:31 PMI think it’s perfect the way it is. It still does 130 damage which isn’t bad. Remember that hunters have a dodge that resets melee cooldown. If it oneshotted it would easily be abused.
-
2 RepliesDude I've seen my hunter nerfed time after time since vanilla d1. I remember when bladedamcers were feared, when nightstalkers didn't need to use wombo combo in d1 until we did because nerfs and also shadestep. Long gone are them days son
-
Ahh yes Hunters the Rangers in a Combat Triangle.
-
2 RepliesNo been using it a lot in pvp its perfectly balanced we can activate it much faster then a titan getting enough sprint to shoulder charge, we are hard to hit while using it we go from sliding to then up in the air and while in the air can finish the target off no problem and we can reset it with our dodge, we also have a new exotic granting 2 dodges per charge so reset the melee much more often while titans need to get the kill with the exotic in order to get the melee reset. Our uppercut can also hit multiple players while shoulder charge is single target and as hunters dodging shoulder charge is easy enough as it is.
-
2 RepliesAnd if you make zero contact the ability should be reset. Like shoulder charge. It should be able to be used as a means of mobility. Just like shoulder charge.
-
5 Replieslol @ these shoulder charge crutches

1 ReplyI don’t understand these threads. Pretty sure every time I’ve proc’d this on a player in range it’s ohk?
-
14 RepliesNo hunters are cheap enough, thanks
-
9 RepliesTitan main here, yes it should. Same mechanics as shoulder charge, but with a slide. I don't see the harm.
-
10 RepliesNah. Y'all have your invis. Warlocks have their blink. We have a OHK melee. Carry on. All is well
-
5 RepliesTalk to me when Titans are the best pvp class
-
No. Too many Hunters in the Crucible as it is.
-
1 ReplyAs long as titans get twilight garrison with double dodge.

2 RepliesI think bungie executed the whole melee concept poorly. They tried to make the melee fun but it is not executed well. They would be better off just making it like a shoulder charge, the arcstrider is a melee based subclass. I would have it operate like shoulder charge on the striker titan. The new melee would propel you towards the enemy which would OHK. The arc beam that happens afterward would break a opponents sheild (assuming their full health). I would have the melee require you to sprint not as much as titans, but would still require you to sprint. This is so you can't kill someone, then dodge to get melee back, then slide to instantly kill the other guy.

15 RepliesI’ve been trying out the uppercut recently and what’s weird is that unlike a Titan’s shoulder charge, if you miss the uppercut, the ability charge is used up and goes on cooldown. With Titans, if you miss a shoulder charge, you can keep going as much as you want and you won’t use up the charge until you actually hit something. Doesn’t make much sense to me, wouldn’t you agree?
-
Or give hunters an exotic who’s entire thing is making it a one hit kill.
-
3 RepliesEdited by AlphaLion42: 10/3/2018 2:11:34 AMHonestly as much as we would all like it, I think it should remain. Let the Titans be Titans, they deserve the ohk Bc they are the tank. I’d rather after the uppercut if we were able to dodge/regen something like that. Maybe a mid air shield. Something Hunter. Besides, don’t you know Hunter *isnt allowed to be good because it makes people very angry? Lmao Have a good evening.
-
Yes, Warlocks have handheld supernova, Titans have shoulder charge, absolutely it should be one shot. I feel bad for hunters in that respect.
-
-
I agree mainly because that uppercut would be stupid hard to land any way so it wouldnt be to broken
-
As a titan man this seems pretty reasonable
