I would’ve thought that sbmm is more suitable for quick play rather than competitive .... you know, a fun pickup game in the park with people of a similar skill level as against a high level tournament? I get that some people’s idea of relaxing fun is racking up 40 kills against inferior opposition, but if this continues I confidently predict that it will be toxic to the crucible in the short to medium term.

That’s it for sure. Keep the tryhards in quick play where they can go to do some ass kicking when they get tire of competition. Makes sense, not.

If I wanted to constantly be challenged I would play competitive. What's the difference between competitive and quickplay if they're both skill based? Nothing. I don't want every match I play to be tough. I play quickplay to relax and have fun. If I'm winning its even more fun.

Isn't that what it's for? I mean isn't the whole point of video games that have you kill other people meant to make you feel powerful? If it's not then I don't get playing period. Why play to lose? Winning is fun. Losing sucks. And if I have my choice I'd rather have an easy stomp win than costantly struggling to stay at 50 percent win..

It’s not ok to win in those situations. I’m of course overdramatizing a bit but youre too busy having fun beating up on people that you should not be matched with. Dont worry, you’re still a tough guy and I’ll keep fighting for a safe place for you to run to when the matchmaking gets changed again. 👍🏻😉

If they want an easier game to play they should find one. Clearly you're going senile "old man". I play competitive when I want a challenge. When I want to relax and win easily I play quickplay. That's what it is for. Clearly you can't understand that through your gray hairs.

Think of it this way. Using your own words, where does the inexperienced player go to have a relaxing fun game? When you go on a loosing streak or get stomped in competitive no worries, just jump into quick play. The inexperienced doesn't have that luxury. There's simply nowhere to go for them to avoid sweaty games. I agree with you, winning is fun and not everyone should get a medal but I don't think that's the point. Quick play is advertised as a low intensity play list. The way it was before accomplished that for the most part. I don't blame you for not wanting to play people of your own level or better all the time but I do think you are missing the point of most people's arguments with regards to the current match making situation.

It isn't relaxing for them in any case. Either they match randomly and thus usually get players better than them, or they match people of their own skill and still have close games.

PvP is always sweaty, because nobody likes to loose. Practice in PvE and in Private Matches, then go play PvP.
