figured you must be replying to the wrong post. someone who has terrible internet.. To me, its like cheating honestly. the rubber banding, the skipping and lack of visibility due to missed or lost packets etc.. Bungie is responsible for allowing these terrible connections to enter play with others and its wrong. Let them play, fine, put them in lobbies all together like a bunch of cows with hoof and mouth disease, the rest of us do not want to have to deal with the crappy connections they have.

Tell me about, thats all i had to deal with back in D1, id get paired with people who had wallmart internet and it would make playing impossibly annoying. But compared to those days it has gotten a lil better, still i agree with you matches should be based on connection distance and network stability to create the most balanced gaming environments

I will take a loss to a better player any day.. I can't stand playing against shit connections. I have done the math.. a decent connection from Calgary Canada should be able to play with a similar connection in London England and a circle that far out with near zero latency issues. Its the problem of users loading up the bandwidth, having shitty isp and other user based or isp based issues. I pay a premium for my internet connection and shouldn't have to deal with someone elses terrible connetions.. simple as that. PC games have had minimum connection requirements for years and they force players to have more than a potatoe in many instances. Time consoles start doing the same or createing playlists that use connection as the main matchmaking condition.

Edited by phoenixianfire: 7/27/2018 5:45:46 PMyou do realize the complaint your making is not controllable right???? Playing on console doesn't gurantee you a steady connection 24/7 even on a fiber and open ported connections your still running through your consoles servers (PSN or XBL) which in the end dictates your connection speed

yes. and I play on console. You missed the point. The point is that many game developers for PC force players to have stable, better than good connections for gaming to ensure the experience is not tarnished with trash internet connections. Console games need to start doing the same.
