People don't seem to think of this as buying a new game and the season pass. It's roughly the same price. Most new games you won't play as much as destiny. So you will be getting your money's worth even if you don't like it. You only need to spend a few hours on each dlc to make it worth while.
So buying the DLC is $40 and the season pass/annual pass is $30/$35, depending if you buy them separately. Most people will say they won't buy the DLC but usually buy it. If you really don't want it then delete the game from your console then you won't be able to play it unless you download it again.

That's just it people don't want to feel like they're buying Destiny 2 AGAIN because they messed up and are like "Here guys we finally gave you the destiny 2 we told you that you were getting BUT you'll need to give us another $40-$80"

Meanwhile games like The Witcher III did more for it's players for less and gave huge updates that actually improved the game drastically. in Destiny 1 nearly each expansion gave a New Raid and New story and New gear and weapons, New playable areas, New Story and more. You know if they do this to replace Eververse then it might actually be a good thing that shows improvement. . From what was just shown it is just marketing hype to get at your wallets early.

All companies want as much hype for their game, everyone should know that by now. I agree they should get rid of Eververse. Pointless cosmetic items. Many things should have stayed from D1 but that's the way the went. Other companies usually do a better job than bungie at this point. We've seen them change games after seeing how bad destiny has become. But it all depends now whether this next year will be good. If not then it will break the game and lose even more players.

Edited by Iron.Rabbit: 6/6/2018 12:25:56 PMLets be honest though. If THIS Expansion fails. .. Destiny is pretty much a done deal. Sadly they've done this to themselves. They keep making the same mistakes over and over and over again and expecting the consumer to pay for their lack of foresight.
