Not buying your Annual Pass
Nope all of that is still not worth a preorder. Heck I'm not even sure if it's worth a purchase at all. That "reveal" only made me more perturbed. "We changed all this stuff" HOW? I have more unanswered questions than anything else. I am on the brink of just giving up all hope that this company actually cares for it's players.
Edit: *sheesh so many people think that I am telling them how to spend their money or for them not to buy it. I never said that. If you want to frivolously throw money at something before really knowing anything about it do so. I'm not your daddy and if you want to blindly give someone your money before fully knowing what you're getting then do so. Me, I have learned my lesson from this company and it could be the most hyped up two tokens and a blue xp throttled eververse expansive thing to date. There's a slight chance that it's actually decent meaningful and substantial content. The best way to know is wait a few weeks after it releases and see the real reviews.
Additional edit: It's not about the price or wanting something for free it's about value and informed decision making.

I'll wait and see what it is first. This community should know by now that Bungie is capable of making a competent game but also incredibly atrocious let Downs. All these posts about hating on something we barely know anything of is just a waste of time

So like the cost of taking your girl to a 2 and a half hour movie, but like 6 months of additional content. Content you don't have to buy, but can if you choose. I don't get all the salt about this topic. If $30 bucks isn't worth extra content for you, ok I guess. But why the angst enough to voice it on a forum?

However remember you are addressing yourself to players who got crazy carried away pre ordering selling their dads right after cayde said there would be tons of loots. Duh! Worse you’re addressing yourself to players who call warmind a good dlc. These are sheep mate, bungie could turn patrolling in 10 different ways, they’d see that as 10 new content. Look at those noobs doing patrol and lost sectors for days for a masterpiece, something that is beyond useless and fade, but for them it is the ultimate end game. 8 months in, still playing with day 1 weapons. Lmfao bungie’s cheapness is only rivaled by the cluelessness of its fanboys.

2 RepliesI’d agree to not buy the annual pass because we have no idea what that content entails and how big it is. I’d assume that it’s as big as the previous two expansions, but you never know. It could be as bad as those mini-packs that Borderlands 2 had (NOT the Campaigns, the Headhunters).

I gave up on destiny 2. It's not the gsme i thought it would be. I didn't preorder it. I didn't preorder the expansions. I didn't even play the beta because in the back of my mind that it wasn't going to be what i wanted it to be. They announced the characters would reset which i was fine with. Then they said no more random rolls. I knew then that it wasn't going to work for me. I grinded d1 all the way up to the last minutes of d2 releasing still searching for those perfect rolls.

I'm pretty sure I'm gonna break out the graph charts from Sept-October of the daily player dropoffs to determine how good the next Comet/Meteor is going to be. Destiny 2 Year 1 dropped off pretty brutal for my 3 clans in that time period. Went from 100 in each clan, people begging to get in with our group, to like couldn't even find anyone on ever in my clan (and it was half/half new guys to Destiny and Vanilla Veterans).
