I have to agree. I'm never going to grind for NF exclusives, but I'm glad Bungie is giving the grinders something to grind for, & the weapon is good, but not so good that non-grinders feel pressured to get it.

This. The problem with this game and this community, is that so many of us refuse to accept that we DON"T speak with one voice....and we're a collection of very different people, with very different notions of what this game should be. There is room for everyone at the table. There is room for everyone to get somethings in the game that they want. What there ISN"T room for is the notion that EVERYTHING in the game has to be custom tailored to 8 million individual preferences. That's not possible. I'm not the kind of gamer who is going to grind the NF a hundred times to get ANY single loot item. If it drops running it normally, great. If not, that's great too. I'm glad that the hardcore grinders have something in the game for them to chase after....and I'm not going to give Bungie grief because it wasnt' tailored to my personal preferences.

I honestly would not come back to destiny for one weapon, when I can wait for new dlc and come back for a month and get it all then leave again. The games lost its light and 1 weapon is not the answer

The game lost sight of what it was, and who it was that was playing it. So chasing after e-sports and perfect "competitive balance" (a minority wish), they destroyed the PVE end-game and any power-progression for the MAJORITY of the player base. Huge mistake.
