The Division didnt reboot and charge $100 for a crappier version of the original. In fact most of the massive updates were free and dont require the DLC at all compared to D1 TTK which was almost mandatory to get the full features and D2 which has none but promises to drip feed it all back over the next coming months with DLC sprinkled in.
