Classic Bungie, s*** all over your veterans and only cater to the new players. It may not be tomorrow or next week, but eventually the player pool will run out of newbies to bend over. Then there will be no one to pull you guys out of the hole you dug yourselves. It's like a restaurant, yes there will always be a initial burst of income because it's new, but once people realize that the food sucks patrons won't come back. In the food business it's your returning customers that keep you going not the new ones. Why, because nothing stays new forever. With the stinkfest you guys call a sequel along with the blatant disregard for your veteran players who wait out the good times along with the bad. Sooner or later your studio will be forced to close it's doors because no one eats food they don't like. The latest numbers say that there is less than 80,000 players. Why, because the new players are already playing the new games because that is what they do. Those 80,000 are your vets and those numbers are dwindling because one by one they are dropping out for one reason or many. Yeah you may get a spike in season 3 when GoM drops, but if (when) is falls short of amazing Bungie will be in a worse place than they are now. Those 80,000 players might purchase the fall DLC depending on the content of GoM, but mark my words new players won't because they have already played D2. New players play what's new and D2 is a year old this fall, whereas Red Dead 2 is not. Now I'm am not saying that RD2 is a Destiny killer. I'm saying that players that only play the new will do exactly that. The 2018 fall expansion needs to, I repeat NEEDS TO target your veteran audience, deeper customization, more meaningful story, engaging endgame activities, pvp that is fun and not sawing logs boring. If you rekindle the lost faith that vets are feeling and make them feel like there time invested in this game means something. Than maybe, just maybe Bungie won't piss off the community every damn week. People don't get this upset if they didn't care. Since numbers don't lie if your current trend doesnt fall any further 80,000 sales for the 2018 fall dlc will not sit well with big brother. If Bungie wants better numbers than you as a studio needs to change it's target audience. The pen is mightier than the sword, yet actions speak louder than words. Bungie, now is not the time to talk. Now is the time to act, and fast.
