People are upset because two general/generic "clubhouses" on the BUNGIE forums were put behind a wall that requires the purchase of Destiny 2. People are upset because D2 was released as a BETA after 3 years of improvements to D1. People are upset because 5 months in, D2 is stale and underdeveloped. And most of all people are upset because you guys seem to be so out of touch with the community that you think what appear to be empty promises and platitudes are a better response to the community concerns than ACTUAL progress. 3 and a half years in and we STILL can't sort our vault by name or power level. 3 and a half years in and there apparently was no actual plan for endgame in a semi-persistent shared world game. But sure, let's tweak the forum requirements and talk about end of year improvements, in February... Can we have our money back until end of year too? We promise to pay up again once the game is finished. I mean, you trust us, right? For every vapid complaint on these forums, there are 5 legitimate concerns being brought up by people, some of which have spent close to $100 about the state of things based on expectations set by the community managers AND the developers. How about a list of proposed mods for the updated system? Maybe let the payers discuss the potential of these additions. Maybe a poll for which exotic to bring back next? Map discussion? Strike modifiers? IDEAS that the team has for improvements to all of the partially finished systems that exist in game, maybe see which ones the community would be interested in you pursuing? Bottom line, instead of platitudes and poor business decisions, how about you actually spark a discussion. Maybe then, players would be too busy talking about the future to break the precious "rules of conduct" that have suddenly become so damn important...

  • You forgot 1 reason people are upset. After all those years of D1 they fell right into the same problems like they never learned with the 1st game.

  • If you want to see any change to this franchise, three things need to be done. First; if you haven't bought into the first and second expansions, don't. Stop giving them money. Get a refund if you aren't satisfied with your purchase and let everyone you know not to buy till this game is changed back and is a 100% complete product. Second; continue voicing your fixes, ideas and concerns in a constructive manner. We have to come together as a community, we can't be fighting each other. Last but not least; contact the Better Business Bureau and let them know that Publishers and Developers need to be 100% open about a product and what it in tells BEFORE we buy it. We giving the gaming industry enough of our time, patience and money. This should go without saying. Just keep up with the pressure. Not just here but everywhere you want change.

We paid for a -blam!-ing service that won't be what we paid for until the end of the year the earliest. So an entire year after release. Will they give us our money back until then? Of course not. But believe me, if there were laws that forced them to, they'd have these "fixes" done by the end of this month. All of them. I'd bet 90% of Bungie right now is making more eververse content. 8% are coming up with ways in board rooms that we can be suckered into buying more dlc/eververse shit, and the last 2% MAYBE are working on fixing this crap heap. Priories are priorities and if you think the players are anywhere near the top - you're delusional.

  • We’ve seen that a forced refund makes bungie work there tails off. Weird how that works right?
