Respectfully, I've been trying to work my way into playing this game again, but if this is the level of 'respect' you show people who have supported your career and want to see positive change in your company, then I cannot in good conscience stick around. I wish you guys good luck in your future, but it's a future I won't be a part of. To be clear: I'm not trying to rip you guys down, I'm not trying to organize a boycott, and I'm certainly not condemning you over making a game I'm not fond of. I'm not 12, and you guys deserve more credit than you receive at the hands of your customers. That doesn't excuse bad business practices, but I recognize that you're making positive changes (under duress, but hey, gotta start sometime). My problem is that for every step forward, it's two steps back. And even though I'm just not down with modern Bungie, it's not too late to get me re-invested. (I know full well that one tiny gaurdian isn't going to cause an uproar, but that's good. I don't want that, but I am willing to be frank, even if it's over something small.) I just find it so demoralizing, and frankly frustrating, that there have been so many underhanded moves, so much bad communication. This being "nothing new" is just like Curse of Osiris locking people out of content. Nothing new, but you changed that. So what gives here? I'll tell you what, bad PR, and you trying to reverse your bad PR in this fashion is pushing me off the edge, and I'm done trying to climb back up over and over again. I'm sorry if I'm sounding mean, but I am upset about what's happening to one of my favorite game companies.
