d2 is good in its own way, but
1. too much money grubbing ([look at road map of the game]). i know game need money to run, but it is too much for a paid game. this is not free to play with micro transaction.
2. D3 is in development . so investment playing of d2 is wasting time.
3. bungie suck at fixing things, raid etc (cannot even fix coil ammo glitch, raid respawn bug). not a good future development.

as far a development goes with that logic it makes no sense to invest time in any COD game, any WOW, and many other games with sequels...yes there are things they need to handle from D2 but you would be foolish to think that every game that has a sequel didnt start developing the next one soon after(sometimes even before due to yearly releases) the current one came out. it takes an enormous ammount of time to develop games. there are fixes that Bungie needs to work on. the roadmap was very helpful to see were the game will be going in the coming months im not sure how the roadmap is money grubbing? the new raid ghost gives you more bright engrams as boss drops. the ammount of XP was reduced for them as well. seems to me like they are giving you more chances to get the eververse stuff for simply investing your time not cash into the game.
