Because bungie did so well doing what they want. This game is it's community, just like any other MMO type game. It cannot survive without us, so yes, we should definetly have a pretty large say in what happens. Naturally the devs cant just snap their fingers and change the game. But when they throw us to the wind and do something enitrely different is when you see this sorta thing.
