There isn’t much they can do differently though without “reinventing the wheel” again. In all honesty, the weapon system it one of the biggest issues plaguing the game, as well as the reward system, and it all trickles into different things from there. The current weapon system makes PvE a slog, and PvP balances and boring. It needs to be addressed as easy as possible without causing another damn reinvention. The problem is that both sides of the equation need different things, and sure separating the sandboxes goes a long way, but the system as it stands is still an issue.

  • Exactly this. My biggest issue is Destiny 2’s mobility. It actually made Titan Fall 2 fun to play. It feels nothing like the original Destiny. Sure it looks the same, but the movement mechanics feel like you are playing a completely different game. One that is boring, soulless, and completely unfun.

  • Absolutely true. I remember watching a few of the better players during trials to get an idea of how they approached maps to help improve my gameplay on D1. D2, I just get so bored of the play in crucible I want to turn it off after a game or two. I don’t even bother trying to evolve my play, because there is no way to do it. There is no room for improvement other than shooting the same guy your teammates are. PvE is just bleh. I fully blame the weapon system for that matter though.
