Jason Shreier has been reporting on Destiny since Day 1. Pretty much everything he's reported about Destiny has been shown to be accurate. He obviously has a credible inside source that's willing to be more open about things than what we normally hear from the devs. Also, if you watch the original DTR podcast on YT, you'll hear him talk about how he values getting the story right over being getting the story first.
