I'm sure they didn't start from the ground up the they rebooted the story. I'm sure a lot of assets were reused. They aren't just going to scrap weapons and armor because the story or whatever doesn't sound right. Also, if you don't like a YTer, just hit the hide content. It's not like you are forced to watch him or another content creator.
