Your profile indicates that you have been on Bungie.net for 6 days, having joined on December 29, 2017. Your Destiny characters also appear to have only marginally advanced in the game. Those facts, coupled with the lack of syntax in a sentence that grossly over-generalizes the education and sophistication of the audience to which you direct it, suggests that your post is simply an example of deliberate trolling. Solely for the sake of discussion, however, I would point out that many of us are, in fact, share-holders in "huge businesses," and thus in fact are "owners" of said enterprises. That's precisely why the CEOs of these Fortune 500 companies are nonetheless not their sole "owners," even if they possess major stakeholder shares. And that also is why these same CEOs are required on a regular basis to conduct earnings reports and appear at annual meetings, during which we fellow "owners" also are permitted to participate and voice any concerns about management's direction. Further to that point, some of us participating on this forum even work directly with corporate management and the Boards of Directors of Silicon Valley start-ups and established tech companies, and hence are intimately familiar not only with corporate decision-making and videogame development, but also the related areas of entertainment marketing and software licensing. Setting aside the fact that you err in your assumptions about the backgrounds of your audience, your very position invokes a non-sequitur. Corporate governance is never unassailable, as the very recent high profile resignations of CEOs Travis Kalinack (Uber), Sam Haskell (Miss America Organization), and Marko Kobal (NiceHash), all reflect. You seem to assume that absent "ownership" of a major corporation or a background in gaming development, the individuals posting opinions about the direction of Destiny in this thread are not truly qualified to express their grievances. I would suggest that such an opinion is juvenile and/or grossly misinformed. However, as you note, "there is a saying about opinions."
