Awesome to see you guys listening a bit and wanting to address concerns. Big picture feedback: I do think it'd be cool if, in addition to quality of life changes, you guys move toward a single shared world shooter experience. Having a massive game and continual content would help those quality of life changes be more impactful and allow Destiny to grow into something more. D2 was supposed to fix Destiny 1's flaws. It may have taken steps backwards, but use this opportunity to grow and cultivate Destiny (the world, franchise, etc.) into something more and a game that could be more than a ten year experience. After all, we've had a rebootish sequel that made the first three years pointless.
