And if so what was it and how did they change it? For me no major opinion has been swayed but maybe some small things like how I used to think Australians were tough until offtopic taught me they are actually pansies.

Yea, made me think to myself: ”Should I add a salvage mechanic into the new Titan hub?” The answer was yes. Thx diablo.

10 RepliesEdited by BurningViper 7-2: 11/18/2017 3:18:06 PMI used to not care about politics, then I started becoming more conservative. And now I'm more independent. Then thing is, being exposed to to much of one side has one of two effects. 1. Become like them. 2. Stray away from them. I started to stray away, and become my own man, with my own opinions. Both political parties are good in their own way. But if you only reside in one part of the spectrum, then you'll never be able to see the faults they preach.
KUPO!!!™

You have been touched by a Moogle.™
Edit: I also thought that America was this great country, that I would love to visit. But from what I've seen, it's a hell hole. And quite possibly the worst country I've ever witnessed. And the cause for it, politics.

6 RepliesYes, back when i used to be a conservative an argument on this site about blm changed my opinion on them.

1 ReplyEdited by FrekMnstr: 11/20/2017 12:51:54 AMI used to think Trump was literally Hitler, now I see him as a demon sent from Hell to ruin the world. I can thank Salon.com for that

Sargon of Akkad, Jordan Peterson, Ben Shapiro, Steven Crowder, Lauren Southern, and Dave Rubin have contributed quite a bit to my opinions.

3 RepliesYes I used to think Obama was great. Voted for him with pride. But then Alex Jones told me "Obama is turning the frogs gay". I disagreed and thought it was foolish until I went outside and seen two male frogs having sex. I would've never thought about gay frogs unless Alex Jones forced me to see the truth

4 RepliesSure. When someone is knowledgeable about something & respectful, then my opinion can change. If they are just trying to start shit & will not listen to my side, then no. If you can't speak intelligently about both sides of something, then you are not going to sway me, you are just a fanboy or a troll at that point.

2 RepliesYes.
We should nerf fussion rifles.
5 RepliesEdited by Eden: 11/18/2017 6:46:49 PMNot really. Most people care more about winning the argument than actually trying to get someone to empathise with their point of view or help them understand a subject. Thus pretty much every internet discussion turns into a dick-measuring contest where both sides are just looking for the best "gotcha!" moment where no one really learns anything. It's more about affirming your own beliefs by proving someone else wrong than trying to empathise with or educate someone.

Yes because I am open minded. I went from pro choice to pro life.

Nothing major.

Information is power, and any new information on a subject I'm misinformed on is welcome. Being hardheaded gets people nowhere. Especially when you're absolutely, objectively wrong on something or new information is introduced.

1 ReplyEdited by HurMedic: 11/18/2017 10:09:40 AMI used to believe people put thought into things. Turns out 9/10 people are actually and by national guidelines... -blam!-. Educate yourself. Clearly public schools aren't. EDIT: Weetawded is censored? Quit censoring shit. I'm a Special Olympics coach in real life. I'm referring to intelligence quotient and education level not insulting anyone. PC culture...

I've gotten different insights and points of views from people who think differently than me. I'm sure that's helped shape at least some of my opinions.

Yeah, some guys named Rene Deacartes, gott mitt uns, and tehnuke.

This post should be 100% yes

Lmao how are we pansies? Please explain. Also, I'd say this cancerous site in general set me from left leaning to right leaning a while back after some...quality discussion.

Edited by Ghostmime: 11/18/2017 7:13:57 PMNot that I can think of right now. Edit: actually, I think this place was why I first started paying attention to politics, so there is that.
