To be fair, this is a bit different. EA DICE has the license for one of the biggest franchises ever...with the words “Star Wars” and “gambling” appearing in news articles all over the place, I’d bet Disney and Lucasfilm weren’t too impressed. That sort of pressure is far greater than “community pressure”. It’s a minor win, but MTX will be back, and there’s no guarantee what it’ll look like when it comes back too.
