The general lack of diversity is definitely bothersome, but that is not to say that MIDA is overpowered, or should be nerfed, or whatever. If you challenge MIDA within your weapons' range, you can outgun any MIDA user, provided you have any semblance of thumb skill. Push into midrange with a Vigilance Wing(that's the real sleeper in Crucible people have yet to discover,) Nightshade, or any AR. Push into mid/close range with a Handcannon and you're going to melt a MIDA user before they can get 5 shots off. The gun is far from unbeatable. You can't challenge a teamshot in a Scout Rifles intended range and expect favorable results. Maps have so much cover, move around, work with your teammates, or stay at range with a Scout rifle yourself, and if you're still losing to MIDA, then they're a better shot/player than you are, or you just got outplayed in that particular instance.

Vigilance wing is for sure my favorite gun in Destiny 2. It feels amazing and is super rewarding to use. I would however say that the Mida could use some tweaks (very slight)

Like I said, the general lack of diversity is definitely bothersome, but that is not to say that MIDA is overpowered. I think Scouts, Auto Rifles, and SMGs are in a good spot. Some sidearms are really effective, too. I think Pulse Rifles and Handcannons could use a buff, maybe then some primary gunplay would diversify a bit. There's no way MIDA isn't getting changed in some capacity down the line, and I'm not opposed to it. Its pretty fkn boring/redundant to play against nothing but groups of 4 hiding behind cover at max range spamming MIDA at you.

It's all good. There's so many people who will carry for free or a Lil change in their pocket, and im not opposed to either of those options. .
