I regularly watch Joe's videos because they are so damn funny.
The problem with Joe is that his clan/friends he plays with are sycophants. All they do is take his opinions as their own or they adopt a group consensus.
None of them ever disagree with him or the group. Joe could use some dissenting opinions.
This leads to reviews that are less objective and more "my leader says this game is whatever he says".
He and his team also goof off quite a bit and he doesn't always show examples of what he criticizes (the eating cereal thing).
I feel that he puts more time and effort into his costumes and comedy than getting a solid review.
He didn't finish the raid, didn't seem to try crafting mods and didn't try out the guided games feature (granted not out of beta yet).
Joe needs to come to terms with the fact that his outrageous reviews are funny as hell but he's not going to be treated seriously by game companies who know that is his primary motivation.
He's just not funny unless he's pissed off.
Add to this that some of his points were nit picky and you see how comedy takes a front seat to criticism.
Let's face it, this game is no 6/10. It's better than that by any measure.

Your opinion. And he's given quite a few games very good reviews. He makes very valid points in this review (though I disagree on getting your light back - that's what makes Destiny). In MY opinion, he hit the nail on the head with his score. And you want sycophants? Look no further that this board. They'll eat anything Bungie feeds them and somehow believe it puts them in Bungie's good graces. Bungie can do no wrong, and Destiny 2 is better in every way; including more micro transactions and consumable shaders.

He explains why it's better in his review then gives it the same rating.

He also clearly states the steps backward. It improved in some areas, and got worse in others. Hence the same score.

I frequently change shaders and I still have so many I don't know what to do with them. I find mods that pretty much work with my loadouts and they very rarely change, so I have so many I don't know what to do with them. The raid is hard/incomprehensible. Git Gud Joe. I admit I'd like to change my appearance. The story is formulaic, I'll give him that. Still, I enjoyed it. I like the bits of lore you can find in the game. An in-game lore codex should be available. Angry Joe is more about a character called Angry Joe who blows spazzes and swears a lot. Funny as hell, I admit. I'd give his review a 7/10. I added an extra point for his costume.
