I got the Destiny 2 PS4 Pro bundle and receiving same error and problems. Currently doing a full initialization, will update if the same issue occurs.
*Update*
3 hours later: No go on the full initialization, try to do the story missions in hopes or trying to reach Titan location as mention by others and it still crashed on me.
*Update 2*
1 hour later: Made it to Titan after patiently trudging through the crashes and after I thought it was safe I still hit a crash. Note: I was doing a campaign related mission - Riptide on Titan.

I also bought the new white ps4 pro bundle and the game is unplayable. Tomb raider and other games that people have reported issues with all run perfect. Come on Bungie... This is giving me No Mans Sky flashbacks. Somebody seriously screwed the pooch here and we deserve at the very least frequent updates.

If you're on Titan planet, there are 0 crashes, you can do the mission there to finish without any crashes and do public events/heroic public events. I am almost at lv 20 now. Seem like I have no crashes at all at Titan planet but when I go to earth, BOOM! Crash. So I am staying at Titan planet and leveling my characters and getting better gears. Been at it since morning. Until Bungie fix the issues then I will go anywhere, for now, STAY AT TITAN PLANET!

I wish I could but I haven't unlock it yet, still stuck in the beginning and just met with Hawthorne Friend at the church.

A Full initialization wont fixt the problem. I tried that before. Its al wast of time 😞

That's what I'm expecting but at this point I'm grasping at straws now, so part of me wants to believe.

I also bought the bundle yesterday. Barely got through the first mission last night after several crashes. Started up this morning and went through the entire second mission no problems. Started to think I was in the clear and it crashed again. Seems very random how long you'll last before crash but it seems inevitable for now. I actually lasted longer this morning with HDCP and Boost activated. Really bummed and hoping for a savior patch.

I agree, the crashes seem quite random. Crossing my fingers for the initialization to work but we'll find out in 3 hours for it to complete...
