Destiny Lore: What Is The Traveler? (And What Is Inside It?)

From our view of the Traveler in the Tower, we can answer very little about the mysterious nature of the Traveler. With this post, I intend to present an existing theory on what the Traveler is and what is inside of it (with my own twist). I highly believe this theory, but I am not the biggest Destiny Lore expert, so please bear with me. Thanks! The Dyson Sphere: If you have ever had the privilege to play one of the early Halo games, you've probably heard of, seen, been inside of, and even blown up a Dyson Sphere before. A Dyson Sphere is a planet sized piece of machinery inverted and made hollow with a star in the center, and has no relation to a Dyson Vacuum cleaner. To start off the Dyson Sphere theory, the idea of the Traveler being a Dyson Sphere is not new. These concept arts from the early development of the game show just that:
https://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/destinypedia/images/9/98/Destiny_Concept_Art_18b.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20130707180457

https://northatlanticblog.files.wordpress.com/2015/04/inside-the-traveler.jpg
Observing The Speaker's Observatory: Anyone who has looked into any Lore on the Speaker knows that he is obsessed with the study of the Traveler. He studies in his observatory in the North Tower. But around his machine used to analyze the Traveler, there are 6 mysterious pedestals with translucent holographic orbs on their tops:
https://ilikeinterfaces.files.wordpress.com/2015/06/destiny_20150610220349.jpg
I believe that these holograms are of the Traveler. To start off I will read from Ghost Fragment: Ghosts.
Ghost Fragment: Ghosts Beyond. It is a place, a place casting shadows and emotion. One hot blue sun, say. And other suns too. Five? I like seven better. What I'm recalling is a giant star with a family of six smaller suns, and you could spend days and nights counting all of the planets circling those suns...except there are no planets. Not anymore. The powers in charge have carved up all of the worlds, and maybe a brown dwarf or two for good measure. With that rubble, they fashioned a topologically creative enclosure, a twisting of space and time sealed behind doors that admit only those who know the magic words. The bones of a hundred planets have been cut smooth and laid out like a floor, a polished and lovely floor creating vast living spaces. A floor bigger than ten thousand worlds, catching the fierce glory of the seven suns. For light, for food. For beauty. And nothing escapes. Not heat, not gravity. Not even the faintest proud sound. It could be anywhere. It can live in the cold between galaxies, or folded up inside matter, near enough to touch right now... I remember it and maybe it's exactly as I describe it. Seven suns wrapped inside magic. Or it's something else entirely, perhaps. A place still fat with life. An abundance of silent souls, some decent, maybe a few of lesser quality, and everybody stands about or floats about, or they bounce between dimensions. The point is that the residents of this hidden realm live inside a bottle so perfectly hidden that they can't see beyond their own borders. Which shapes a mind in very specific ways. But, Beyond is their name for a mysterious, doubtful realm that they can't see. Which is us, of course.
The Fragment ends. What I believe about this card is that it is a Ghost describing the place it was born, the Traveler. For now, let's pay attention to the part where it says "a giant star with a family of six smaller suns". This picture should help you understand.
https://i.imgur.com/GFReBw4_d.jpg?maxwidth=640&shape=thumb&fidelity=high
The big dot in the middle is the giant star, and the other orbiting dots are the six smaller suns. Also, just throwing it out there now, the total number of stars is seven, or the number Bungie is obsessed with. Therefore, I believe that these holographs are diagrams of the inside of the Traveler. Now we will look at the red banners on the wall as you go up the stairs to the Speaker. These show the same "giant star in the middle, with six smaller suns".
https://m.imgur.com/7lN20uF
The entire observatory is even laid out in a similar fashion. The large machine in the middle analyzing the Traveler, with six surrounding pedestals depicting the inside of it. I highly believe that the holographic orbs are displays of the inside of the Traveler, created with data obtained from the analyzing machine in the middle of the observatory. The Deeper Speculation: Be warned, from here on lies deeper speculation that may not be true. Recall this line from Ghost Fragment: Ghosts. "A place still fat with life. An abundance of sentient souls, some decent, maybe a few of lesser quality, and everybody stands or floats about, or they bounce between dimensions. The point is that the residents of this hidden realm live inside a bottle so perfectly hidden that they can't see beyond their own borders. Which shapes a mind in very specific ways. From this, we can picture a Traveler filled with a whole solar system of life, sealed off in a dimension separate from our own. Perhaps it's these souls who became our Ghost. Let's recap what we've talked about: The Traveler is a Dyson Sphere that contains a bubble of warped space and time that houses the souls of an unknown civilization. This bubble is a hollow, inverted, spherical land mass with six small suns orbiting a larger seventh in the center. All of this can be proved through the holographs in the Speaker's Observatory. Another cool idea that I have no proof for is that maybe this hidden dimension is where the Nine, or even the Ahamkara reside. That's how I'll close this one off. If you read the whole post, thank you. Feel free to leave feedback and discussion in the comments. Until next time, Guardians! Edit: Here's something to think about: What if the Red Legion somehow find a way into the Traveler's hidden realm? And what if the star we see blowing up in the trailer is one of the seven suns? It's the Trojan Traveller. It's a giant servitor. The Fallen just painted it white and everybody fell for it. Our powers actually come from the Speaker, (he gets them in bulk at Costco) but then Ghaul parked a dropship on him so now we can't make the pretty lights any more.
