You're entitled to your opinion ....your opinion affects YOU ..... But mine is based upon the now known facts that they are focusing on PvP And have changed the entire build and gunplay system to make PvP fresh And forgetting the real reason they even came up with the idea of Destiny A huge PvE multiplayer FPS/RPG light Guardians versus the Darkness And the three years of Destiny 1 DLC content (except the ROI which looks like a totally new add on idea tacked on to a very shaky main plot) And the part where the idea for the EDZ is taken from the very first Pre Destiny 1 reveals, Is now the 'exciting new D2 world' Show that Bungie has cut content, rejigged, reheated and revived old ideas to sell as PvE again! And this is supposed to be progress! If you are happy to throw money at the screen for that Go ahead!

  • My point was that you claimed to have invested a certain amount of money, and that was giving you a "right" to voice your opinion. I'm not saying you can't voice yours, or that you arent entiteled to one. How much you paid or if you paid at all is irrelevant. A certain amount of time invested in the game, both pve and pvp gives you a credible, valid opinion... I have way more time than most people in the world (Not because I find it to be the perfect game, far from it) I find that most of us that has invested a huge amount of time in it, do it because of the unique social aspect the game has. I have guys on my friendlist that I've played houndreds and houndreds of hours with. The truth is that I wouldnt play this game half the amount I've done, if I didn't have headphones for chat ;) You need to consider that there are a huge group of us players that take what Bungie deals and hope for the best. We will buy and play anyways. We DO have opinions (that we discuss heavy in our parties), but we keep on playing with what we got (and curse ActiBungie in the shadows) ;)

My comment about the cost was aimed in response to this

Waysketch
.....Here's the truth; You've realized that your petty $60 pre order cancellation won't even faze the results of new game release. .
I was simply stating that I have contributed, so I would have my opinion, regardless of time spent,, K/D, and Grimoire score (not that my opinion is better than his, yours or anyone else) I have plenty of game time on Destiny1 on a last gen XB360, mainly PvE LoneWolf'd through the D1 Beta, Vanilla campaign, patrols, strikes, 2 Expansions and TTK etc when I had a spare few hours here and there....but there's only so much you can do alone/in the time I had I've NEVER Raided! for instance, as that took hours, regular Destiny friends, and time to commit! I recently purchased a new PS4-Pro console (Nov), & decided to replay it again to get through ROI (still haven't got there....feels like I might be wasting my time) I'm glad you had a positive experience with Destiny, hundreds of hours played online, that you met some friendly Guardians, and had the time to experience all that was good..........I didn't........mainly had idiots demanding that I had a headset and Gjally for the first few months for any type of strike/raid, then after I stepped away for a while (overseas).... If you read my response to Rainstate, you might see that other things such as grown up responsibilities/work get in the way of gaming..... ------------- "I've followed this light as far as it goes"- Exo Stranger I bought into Destiny after seeing the 2012 E3 and their vision for a huge exploratory FPS/Light RPG PvE world........and even after a grindy Destiny1 Beta/Vanilla, thought D1 could be something great....Sadly, Bungie and Activision have stepped over to the Dark Side, and seem to be bowing to PvP/eSport demands, as they have always done in the last 3 years..... Enjoy your time in Destiny This war has no end, Guardian!
