Very good read.
I'm happy with many of the changes but find that primary weapons need to be slightly buffed. The core gameplay is focused on primary weapon play. They need to feel more powerful. There were many times where I would shoot my opponent but it feels like I'm doing very little damage.

Edited by Rayland_Givens_: 7/24/2017 3:20:13 AMD1had primary for adds, special for elemental shields or range dps, heavy, or supers for multiple yellow bars or area clear, grenades when you get them...they got it right the first time.

Outside of fusion rifles in the first vanilla iteration of the game, specials were never great for dealing with shields. Ammo was too scarce to waste on non-yellows, and the range restrictions on shotguns and snipers could be a real hindrance. I actually use all my weapons in the D2 beta.
