So with Destiny 2 revealed, what would you like to see changed and/or added?
Me personally, make light level = skill again. Getting to 400 is too easy and you don't have to raid. That's what I loved about year 1
Discuss your thoughts and stay civil.

Edit 2: 400+ replies? Never had that much before but you're all giving great responses!

Raids that aren't full of glitches that wipe entire teams that are doing fine.

Josh Hamrick fired.

Making light level skill again? When the hell was it ever skill based? As for not having to do the raids, first you a wuss if you can't handle that. Secondly, I actually agree. There needs to be something other than PvP and team based PvE activities that loners can do to get to the max light level.
-
A world free of red bars and other shitty lagging pvp connections.
-
The problem with your light level = skill, especially for 1st year, is that it was never skill. No one earned anything year 1. You were randomly picked. Again, for the thousandth time, that why they changed it...because of forever 29. If the raids were harder with guaranteed drops, and with an in game lfg system of sorts for those who don't run with a regular crew, I might agree with that. Often times it seems it's forgotten that skill was really not that involved (though you must have some), but rather opportunity and luck...with a dose of more luck, and a sprinkle of even more luck.

Alien tits, and hardcore alien love making.

Separate Pvp and Pve, not hard, really, it is just a basic if statement. I say keep light as is, no need to make it as idiotic as it was in Y1 with the strange infusion. Gear never meant skill, it meant time on hand, that's it. Storyline!! I want a coherent storyline from start to finish, character development, make me care. I couldn't care less that the city is getting nuked as I never got to visit or explore it. I also want melee weapons, tons and tons of melee weapons. Let me be the titan that goes in like a maniac and swings his sword or axe.
-
Some sort of conquest side quest to take back sections of the city from the cabal
-
I want to see eververse burn and I want exotics to feel powerful again.
-
1. PVP completely separated from PVE. No intertwining quests, no "balance" overlaps, etc... 2. An in-game story that doesn't need to be accessed online. 3. Additional character customization and the ability to change it anytime. 4. "Create-a-shader" so I can make my own. 5. Make exotics rare again, not an alternate route to max light via consumable lotto coins.
-
No RnG. Red bars cannot enter PvP. If already in PvP and you suddenly red bar....back to orbit. PvE weapons, separate from PvP weapons. More than adequate vault space. No duplicate weapon/armor drops from activities until all weapons/armor have been obtained from the the raids. Choose desired perks at the gunsmith. Choose desired perks at the factions(armor). Too much more to list, doesnt matter what I think anyway.

Proper open world. Dedicated servers. Pvp with match winning kill cams

Edited by Barrierr-: 4/23/2017 10:56:34 PMA fleshed out, linear story & not just random DLC that has no relation to the other. Wheres the Stranger? Rasputin? The Traveler should at least move or talk. The Queen? There's so many things left unfinished & we should see them finished in Destiny but I'm pretty sure it's not gonna happen. D2 is already starting with a DLC type story with the Cabal theme.

Rule 34...they could show us...but they wont.

A less static game world. Ideally what I wanted was for Destiny 2 move to a more episodic format. As in, less major expansions, utilising small monthly updates to make small changes to patrol areas and enemy tactics to coincide with what we are achieving in-game. Example: so in Destiny 1, after defeating crota in TDB, hive presence on the moon and earth remained exactly the same. There's no connection between what we do in the game and how the game world reacts to it.

SBMM for strikes and CBMM for Pvp

Edited by Crota Prime: 4/24/2017 2:53:00 PMI'd like to see some of my Destiny 1 weapons carry over.. but the universe hates me so I guess I'd settle for some prestige given to Destiny 1 players. Edit: Also some kind of in-game LFG program.

Edited by S1N1STER_S1X: 4/24/2017 3:36:02 PM6v6 pve/pvp style raid. Pve all the way up to raid boss.(12 man team) Ends in a pvp 6v6 elimination round.(winners get to open final chest while loser's get loot from raid boss but go to orbit after losing elimination round)

Bigins with an "S" and ends with "ERVERS" can you guess what it is?????????

A full game not a demo

No special ammo loss on death

Dedicated servers.

My first ideas: I made these like a year ago. Hyper charge supers, donate your super to your teamate and change the style of the super, like foh spewing pillars of fire after a solar subclass donates their super. Idea 2: donating super, give your super to your ally if they need it. Like multiple bubble Titans having their super but your singular hunter thats tether on Aksis doesn't have it, just transfer it to them. Exotics that change supers. Example: FoH turns into a mobile super that punches the enemy creating shockwaves, running for a short time changes shoulder charge into a dropkick that when the corpse flies towards an enemy it detonates in a huge amount of arc energy. I have more but these were my original ideas

Depth. In every aspect of game cause this one had none. Also better development of game. It should grow. Not step way back. Then get year one update in last legs. There are too many things. It may not be worth giving a second chance to bungievision. But they rushed one and im sure two will be same.

Transmogs and extra perks for having a full set of raid, osirus or faction gear. Those tiny perks of "faster reload while in the aura" don't do much..
