Making light level skill again? When the hell was it ever skill based?
As for not having to do the raids, first you a wuss if you can't handle that. Secondly, I actually agree. There needs to be something other than PvP and team based PvE activities that loners can do to get to the max light level.

Destiny was and still is a team-based game. You're in a clan aren't you? Why care about loners?
-
Just because I am in a clan doesn't mean I don't play the game on my own.
-
So invite those people to your clan?
-
No. You're absolutely right. Let me invite them while they are at work or not at home. I am sure they will drop what they are doing and come help me with a strike or two.
-
Lol, you think they wouldn't have the app and join your clan? A process that takes SECONDS?
-
See, here is the thing. The people in my clan, are those I know in real life. I don't bother with people I meet online.
-
So back to the original question. Why worry about others? Especially if you're not going to let them join your clan?
-
Why are you worried about me being worried about others? What the fuck is it to you? Not everyone likes wants to be in a clan or have to deal with LFG in order to level up. Some are perfectly fine with matchmaking or playing without others. There should be options for those people. God forbid should Bungie try and include every playing style.
-
They did. Through the use of Iron Banner and Trials. Destiny is and will be a team based game. But seriously, don't just suggest help and then not do anything. Actually helping would be much better than just simply telling Bungie to do it for you...

If you played in year one before the dark below almost no one was level thirty and you had to grind the vault to be able to go up which = skill
-
Lol. That wasn't skill. That was terrible RNG holding people back. Skill. Lol. Anyone can best an AI.
