Improve Loot!
Its been a little under a month, and the loot drops are just terrible.
Crota's End: I BARELY got a complete set of armor for one of my characters, no duplicates of any armor. One of each weapon obtined luckily enough.
Vault of Glass: THREE armor pieces between two characters, not including class items. LOTS of duplicate weapons. Literally my last raid was ALL duplicates.
(Not including the other two because they're too new and I quite frankly don't like playing them)
What happened? Year One, we'd get two raid pieces per drop. Now we are lucky to get more than one! Its like the game just tossed me an item in disgust.
EDIT: So I get I'm one of the luckier ones and I didn't really make a strong point, so I'll just say this: Duplicates. I remember some time back that Bungie stated they rebalanced the drop system to avoid duplicate drops. This has shown to not be the case, hence my ire.

I've done the kingsfall and VOG raid so far in the age of triumph update at LEAST 5 times each... not only do I not have any armor from both raids, I haven't even gotten the marks...

I'm a beta player I've been here the entire ride. I'm here to tell you to lay off the dope. Loot drops are at an unimaginable all time high. God forbid you aren't handed every item you want in 1 run through. Clearly you didn't play vog year 1. Took months to get a full armor set.

7 RepliesI don't know what year one VoG you were playing but it was almost always duplicates of shards for most of my group. It took 33 completions s for my wife to get boots to be 30 light. Guess what? That was the best drop she ever got and nothing has compared to is since. The gear drops like candy now and we still complain. Smh

Yeah not sure what Vault you ran in Y1, but it took me forever to get all the gear for all three classes because it was shards and weapons the whole way for me.

the age of grind. Rewards are, and have always been random. I have had 0 armour from Wotm for my warlock, and I have been in there like 20 times (may not have 20 completions) but got 0 armour drops Used to get nothing but shards for weeks in VoG y1 no armour, no weapons. 38 HM VoG y1 completions before I got a vex. Never ever got the warlock bond of praetorian foil. RNG dude
