Zaouli's Bane and it's Atrocious Reload
I recently did part of Kings Fall challenge mode and got Zaouli's Bane (feelsbadman). I decide to go and take it for a spin. I fire a couple of shots, and then reload. Well, at least I attempt to. So there I am, sitting there with my thumb up my ass waiting for this thing to reload. This is ridiculous. Bungie. For the love of god. Please buff the Zaouli's Bane reload speed.

Every single one needs a slight reload buff (yes I know they are slow because of cocoon, but they are brutally slow. If they had average reload they would be more viable.) Every one also needs a serious stability buff. Buff these two things and you have some awesome raid primaries.

Anguish of Drystan needs more Aim assist Doom of Chelchis needs more stability Smite of Merraim could use a smidge of stability Zoauli's Bane needs a lot.

6 RepliesFor -blam!-'s sake people...seriously!? IT HAS COCOON! You don't need to reload it. Switch to your special or heavy and it will literally reload itself. Even better; if one or both of your other weapons have cocoon you never have reload downtime. The only reason you should ever watch it reload is for aesthetic joy.

5 RepliesPeople who dont comprehend the value of cocoon usually have an unhealthy reliance upon their special weapons over anything else. Z. Bane is all around terrible but if cocoon is your complaint, your play style is the issue not the perk. Only a really sad person can turn being a walking turret into a bad thing. If your reloading cocoon weapons and your complaining about reload speed you have already admitted you dont have a clue how to spec a loadout.

The reload speed has been a forum joke for some time now. Use handcannon reload gauntlets, ophidian aspect, or chain of woe, if you really insist on using it.

Cocoon is junk and wastes a perk slot and still takes longer than a decent reload speed anyway....

The actual reload time isn't bad at all. Only the animation is slow. Its about the same amount of time to reload as Fatebringer without Outlaw. And cocoon is pretty useful from time to time. I don't get the large amount of hate for the weapon, ESPECIALLY if you get the Legendary with Life Leech as a Red Death substitute that frees up your Exotic slot.

It has the same reload as the first curse and Judith-D and has a better reload than I'll will (no surprise). In all honesty, just get used to it.

At least Life Leech works off of hits instead of kills on that thing now.

Most of the guns from that raid sucked totally. The scout was good - the rest never got touched. After quillims took a heavy nerf it was only the scout worth a squirt of pi$$

I usually just jump off the map and wait for the respawn rather than reloading it, it refills your clip and saves you some time!

4 Repliesstep 1. Wear Hand Cannon Loader Gauntlets step 2. Make use of all reload increasing perks step 3. Swap to special swap to heavy, auto reload and bam switch back.
