Badger CCL- if you guys don't know about the Badger, it's basically the best high impact scout in Destiny. And it's gonna get a buff tomorrow when NLB finally gets its flinch. BADGER CCL FTW IKR LOL YOLO!

  • For those that do know: Hand of Judgement is the best version of the high impact scout you can get.

  • the Badger's base stats are all better than HoJ except for Aim Assist. Roll badger with HH, and a middle row stability perk, and it can make any HoJ roll look sloppy in comparison. I like HoJ. Scout's Honor... but it ain't no Badger. Rof+recoil pattern on badger basically means the reticle is always dropping back into place no matter how fast you fire it... that's its natural kick. HoJ isn't as crispy... its stability, its range... it's just a 'lil behind old Badger.

  • I just realized you mentioned RoF & recoil pattern. You do realize they are the same archetype/ same gun save for the base stats & paint job right?

Stability isn't an issue for high impact scout rifles. Range is never an issue with high impact scouts either. They have the same mag size. HoJ has a faster reload speed. HoJ has considerably more AA. Badger needs Hidden Hand? PvE? Look at the roll on my Warlock: Red Dot ORES, Hand-laid Stock, Explosive Rounds, Firefly. PvP? You can roll stability separate from HCR's/ Explosive Rounds and get any number of perk combinations which you can change to suit your need on your last column (HH, Outlaw, Firefly, Explosive Rounds, EoTS, 3rd Eye etc.). And chroma.....the only use I have for chroma. Also, here's the Destiny Weapons Stats Spreadsheet if you're inclined to research any of what I said above: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1GtrNjOBJddXWzXh3rf45eED31XoyfYFUX71JU32tg2E/htmlview?sle=true# From the start of my Destiny career I gravitated towards high impact scout rifles. My first of which was Badger CCL in year 1 (accompanied by The Calming & MG18A Harm's Way, all of which still sit in my vault). I then moved onto Gheleon's Demise, Jade Rabbit, Cocytus SR4 & finally graduated to an HoJ. Just my opinion though. :-) I'm glad you like your high impact scout! Elemental damage be damned, I'll still take my HoJ over Fatebringer!
