What UNORTHODOX weapon do YOU use?
There are some guns in Destiny that see almost absolutely no use, probably with good reason too. Do any of you use a weapon or weapons if that's the case that seemingly no one ever uses?
I have a personal love for my Harrowed Zaouli's Bane, the Hand Cannon from King's Fall. I have Life Leech on mine which turns it into a mini-Red Death (that actually fully restores health rather than partially like the Red Death). I love the way it looks, sounds and generally performs overall. The Stability in the UI says it is really bad, but if you put Field Choke on with Rifle Barrel, it does kick a bit but the recoil pattern is mostly vertical.
I guess it isn't very popular because of the slow reload speed for its archetype plus the archetype itself is not the most popular. I personally never have to worry about reload speed because I run Chain of Woe on my Gunslinger.
Other guns I like that most do not seem to would be Anguish of Drystan, No Time To Explain, Lyudmila-D and Touch of Malice.

Had people telling me that it's archetype is garbage yet they've never actually tried it.... Yet to meet anyone who loves it as much as I do.

Now I've been using parthian shot, winged word (I know it's kinda meta) and any heavy that I feel like. Usually nova mortis or bolt caster. First Curse, used Boolean Gemini and NTTE for a while. Loved Hawkawesome in the beginning of TTK. I used to use the summoner adept and a fusion in year one IB etc. I liked to experiment and I still do lol

Look at my hunter in a few minutes. The hand cannon on him is amazing for some weird reason. If you can click on it, it even looks amazing.

Kumakatoc with LITC, rifled barrel and outlaw. It just holds a sweet spot for me in ROF, stability, range, and damage. Only hand cannon that I have done better with was imprecation... but that was a weird match.

I used to love my Zarinaea D that I deleted when RoI came out, for vault space. Fabian Strategy comes close but I wish you could switch off the Arminius bit of the exotic perk. The Vanguard QM is selling a green version of it...bought it and took it on patrol! Sounds amazing over Astros. Looking to replace it as soon as the Gunsmith sells one. Have a great roll on Apple of Discord, which is also a bit unfashionable. Righteous VII from New Monarchy TTK vendor is also a great AR; looking forward to a buff in this patch. Judith D especially on Gunslinger with Gunslingers Trance, Chain of Woe , Roadborn on Chaperone and Reactive Reload is pretty good too.

I feel you on Zaouli's Bane. Really all the kings fall weapons are some of the most fun to use for me. Anguish of Drystan is the only one that I really don't like. Otherwise Smite of Merrain with firefly, Doom of Chelchis with life support are my favorites.
