Just two little questions that I'm curious about.
1. Are our Supers (or even our Light entirely) linked directly to Ghosts? I ask because A. In one of the Rezyll Azzir (?) Grimoire cards his Ghost says "Now, now, now!" Referencing to his Fist of Panic which he used immediately after hearing. And B, if you watch a Warlocks self-revive animation in slow motion, you actually see a Ghosts transmat animation behind all the flames. So that begs the question, without our Ghosts could we still use Supers and such? I'm leaving Eris out of this one because she's also dabbled in Hive magic so I wouldn't say she's a reliable source even though her Light is supposedly gone.
Question 2 is a little less talked about.
2. Our Ghosts have the ability to bring us back from the dead supposedly even if we were a pile of bones or blasted apart from explosions. Right? Well does this mean they can heal minor injuries? Like for example say I broke my leg jumping into the Hellmouth. Could a Ghost fix that? Or would I have to let Thrall beat me up and just let it revive me after?
Thoughts anyone?

Edited by IcyHorizons: 2/23/2017 8:14:54 AMThe simplest answer I can speculate is from the time of the ending of the rise of iron prologue where we see 9 iron lords fighting in the replication chamber deep underground the plaguelands, Now due to in game dialogue Saladin quotes " there were hundreds of thousands iron lords." This leads me to speculate that the moment that the traveler died and released the ghosts, I believe that the traveler made the ghosts to resurrect combat fit warriors (re animated iron lords)(that died outside the replication chamber and elsewhere) After all the events leading to the rise of iron expansion. The ghosts are essentially our main conduit to our supers, grenades and anything else that comes from the light that the traveler gave us to fight back against its arch nemesis

Ghosts do not control their Guardian's Light. The Rezyl Azzir thing is just the Ghost not wanting either of them to die and the Sunsinger revive is because that's how the Destiny respawn animation works, it would be way too hard to change that just for a self-revive Ghosts can restore minor wounds easily; they constantly restore our cells and are more than capable of any form of molecular reconstruction, wether you're alive or dead during operation

I recall seeing a concept drawing of a Ghost showing and exploded view. I distinctly remember seeing something that looked like an SD card in the rear. Maybe Ghosts are "simulations" of the Traveller.

Why you not know s**t 'bout me!? Unworthy guardian, even a goddamn vex would be better than you

The entire point of Fireborn is that you are reviving yourself without your ghost. Ghost is just a sidekick. Imagine him like being Navi. Except instead of saying, "Hey, listen!" he says, "Guardian down!"

1) The ghost is simply an adapter for Light. From what the Traveler has, to what we get to use. However, the ghost cannot make us do anything. 2) I believe ghosts revive guardians by taking matter and arranging it according to a molecular blueprint of our Guardian. As if, we're being rebuilt, not truly revived. So, in theory, a ghost could have the potential to arrange matter to heal wounds.

if you get your head shot off, you would have thought your ghost would have revived you with your mind intact. If the mind is injured, we'd die because our brain is damaged.

Ghosts are the beams that keep the tunnel between us and our light up. There is a grimoire card which has a fire team stuck down at a hive ritual without their ghosts , they don't have ammo blocks , energy melees , grenades and supers. Without them opening up our connection we cannot tap into our light... We are nothing without them

1. our ghost has no control over us. he can tell us what to do but can't make us do anything. razzil's ghost was just giving him his cue. the way i understand it we have our own inner light and then the ghost has his. 2. yes the ghost can and does heal our minor injuries. when you take fall damage and then heal back up thats lore wise whats happening.
