The simplest answer I can speculate is from the time of the ending of the rise of iron prologue where we see 9 iron lords fighting in the replication chamber deep underground the plaguelands, Now due to in game dialogue Saladin quotes " there were hundreds of thousands iron lords." This leads me to speculate that the moment that the traveler died and released the ghosts, I believe that the traveler made the ghosts to resurrect combat fit warriors (re animated iron lords)(that died outside the replication chamber and elsewhere) After all the events leading to the rise of iron expansion. The ghosts are essentially our main conduit to our supers, grenades and anything else that comes from the light that the traveler gave us to fight back against its arch nemesis

  • I know you'll read the comment I made on the other post u said this theory on, but I if I go without commenting on this someone else in the community who reads it could think it's correct The Iron Lords were Guardians revived after the Collapse, not humans who died before the Collapse and were revived later by Ghosts. I mean really, how else would Saladin hav a Ghost and hav survived hundreds of years if he wasn't a Guardian?
