Wrong. Game is just getting old. Y1 sucked. Grinding endless hours in hopes of an exotic sucked. I get just as excited decrypting an exotic engrams as I did just getting rewarded one randomly. But it doesn't take forever to get an exotic now. People think shooting into a cave for hours on end in the hopes of getting a legendary engram was fun? You think doing a NF and getting 3 strange coins for your time was fun? You think having a legendary engrams decrypt into a rare blue item was fun? Was forever 29 fun? 9 nodes to max a weapon was fun? Separate crucible and vanguard marks was fun? Commondations were fun? Cheesing raids was fun? Hardly anyone could run lamps or knew how to build the bridge or run sword. POE sucked. Everyone wearing raid gear for max level sucked. No, Y1 was not better. It was just newer.
