Who agrees y1 was the absolute best year for destiny for enjoyability
Literally dont play the game that often because the shit feels so damn boring crucible is ran by hunters classes get nerfed left and right and nightfalls are not even a challenge anymore

18 RepliesI just bent my disc in half. This game causes nothing but rage. Having around a 2.0 kd in crucible alongside with sbmm, i cant have a game where I dont sweat. Done with this shitty game. Plus bungie lied about the matchmaking changes, its still 120% skill based. Yes bungie, you focking assholes are driving your players out of here. Also I spent 30$ on silver and didnt recieve it a month ago. Screw this game, they have ruined this game for millions of players.

8 RepliesDestiny was better when there was less PvP elitism. Trials and SBMM separated the playerbase. In a non competitive game like Destiny there shouldn't even be any visible stats imo. People shouldn't know any ELO or KD. If you get destroyed...who cares? All would be forgotten when the next match starts. Then the game would be much more enjoyable.

The level of grind for lack of reward actually bored me in Y1. I ended up having a long time away from the game until TTK dropped. While now the drops are too plentiful, if they had made blue items more viable and made legendary and exotics higher tier than they are now, that may have dragged out the game a little longer. Not a fan of just how RNG the drops in Destiny are overall.

I'm playing Destiny just as much now as I ever have, if not more. Nevertheless, Destiny 2 is just over the horizon! Get hyped guardian. I'm betting most of the creative focus has been directed toward that project rather than this one.

You know old is always better? Thus why old cars are so sought after. Same goes for the game. It was new and unique so it left its mark. But the game is far more diverse and enjoyable now. Yes those memories are awesome, but the game has well evolved since then.

Its been weeks now since my light level went up 1 point. I feel like everything is a rerun anymore from the previous time I played. All the mobs do their scripted act the same every time.

I played year one back then everyone was so friendly and chill, now everyone is kinda a dick, there are still very few nice people left, one time in year one I messaged people at the tower if they could help me in crotas end they were really cool about it and helped, its nothing like that now and its really sad

2 RepliesI've always been a patrol person, so HoW was probably my favorite because of the prowling wolves. I do miss the Blades of Crota though. I can say for a fact that I won't miss taken, so I'd love if Bungie either removes taken from patrol or nerfs their abilities to some degree.

Spending 2 hours on the moon waiting for helium to spawn, so I could just collect 6 of them to do up 1 upgrade on my raid gear as you could only earn so many ascendant shards per week. Oh the grind.lol

Oh man! fellow guardians! Don't get me started on Y1! Hahaha... It was a THRILL 4ME to hear that Bungie was setting something new for all platforms!! I remember that excitement like if it was yesterday!! Now here I am today starting anew with the complete edition on thy journey towards legendary as hunter then titan & finally warlock..... Glory awaits....

The first weeks of the Vex Mythoclast! Beautiful Hawkmoon sniping away. Except juju was just BAD lol.

Year 1: couldnt turn the game off, it was so fun. The grind, getting exotics, feeling awesome. Doing well in pvp required true aim (some broken rng too) but it was a blast, all of it felt like i had put some effort in and got rewarded for it over time, which was nice. Year 3: can barely turn the game on, everything is handed to me, instant gratification is nice and all but it takes away the joy of playing, the grind barely exists and pvp is on easy mode if you choose to run the meta. It honestly hurts to see this game in the current state its in. The alpha was more fun -_- it's a shame really. The game used to be so casual and relaxing, turn it on, play a few games, sit in orbit for a while and continue playing till your eyes get dry. Nastalgia is the only think keeping me playing. If not for year 1 i would have traded in my disk long ago (for like $1) and told everyone i know to never purchase this game.
