I liked year one mostly because I could only play on weekends because of school football etc so I always had something to do. Also I had to focus on one character because of my my time issues. Additionally I still play with some friends I met in year one and I can't really say that as much for two and three. Playing the raids and trying and failing for a few hours trying to beat atheon and Croata was annoying but fun when we finally beat it. Getting exotics was very exciting since they were a lot more rare than they are now especially the vex and Crux and the overpowered ghorn. Last but not least auto rifles were usable in crucible.
