But the difference now is that everyone gets everything and it just sucks. I think we all can remember being in a party and finally finishing the raid only to hear the party erupt when someone got an icebreaker or a gjallarhorn. It was awesome even thought some people had nothing but bad luck. It's a difficult thing for Bungie to balance but I feel the hunt for exotics was a central part of this game and that hunt made all our activities important. Now exotics are so boring and common a lot of people don't even use them.
