No. Up to midrange HC. Farther Dragon. Nerfing Dragon, buffing HC will lead to a meta with only HCs and maybe scouts in the long range.

  • Not at all. Pulses will still be very viable, especially because I am not calling for just a nerf on low impact pulses. I think they need a range reduction and HCF removed, then they'd be balanced. HCs only need bloom removed. They won't be dominant, especially if autos and higher impact pulses get buffed.

  • Up to midrange HCs are already dominant, even with bloom. That is why everybody above a certain skill level uses them. You tell me sweats are basically HC only just because people "like" them? So removing bloom would make them simply unstoppable. Three tap kill time is faster than anything else out there - so to repeat - good people three tap you. You can land every shot with your Puls or whatever and still lose... The only reason Dragon stands a chance is because HCR makes the HC guy sometime miss a shot. Removing bloom would extend this dominance into the long range. Why? A HC still shoots faster and hits harder (even with damage drop off) than any Jade Rabbit type scout. Remove bloom and HCs would four tap you across the map faster than any scout...

  • I have never denied hand cannons were good. They are, but look at the stats. Clever dragon and other low impact pulses are more used than hand cannons. Also, in scout range, hand cannons would only be doing about 40 damage to the head, making it a 5 shot to the head at long range. Top tier players also use grasp of Malok, a high RoF pulse rifle that is highly rated. Taking two equally skilled players, assuming both players land their headshots, the player with a clever dragon with HCR will win the majority of times against a medium RoF hand cannon. People assume that the removal of bloom means that hand cannons will be dominant in all ranges, but that is simply not true. The range drop off is way too extreme for them to perform well in scout rifle range
