My apologies.
I did misread the middle section about the "common narrative"
I wasn't trying to encourage a reaction like that, but I did speak out of line as I misread and misinterpreted the comment.
I would like to mention I'm not so much trying to jump to bungies defense as I am the "sandbox" guys. I know they love the game and take what they do very seriously, and sometimes to point out the balancing questions can change some salt to a little broader perspective. Obviously you are well informed though and it wasn't needed here. Maybe a few comments down.....

Well in all fairness, my headline probably set the tone for your response. However, I purposely worded it that way because for 2 and half years I'm hearing the same conversation over and over and over. I feel that Bungie is keeping crucible fresh by keeping the meta narrow. I really do. I think you have to. The alternative is creating more content and that is cost prohibitive. Now, allowing for a narrative (or promoting) one that is false is not right. Might be a spinfoil hat to some, but when do you ever get full transparency from a privately held gaming company? One, that is directly responsible to a publicly held company I might add.

Never. But only a fool would think they would be fully transparent. I mean look at how people respond now. Defiantly not in their best interest. I feel like the whole "we are listening" thing should be taken with a grain of salt and the only reason it seems like a false narrative is due to the naive nature or maturity level of the community (on these forums specifically) as a whole. It's like watching the news and taking everything verbatim. I mean we all know better, right? Haha Oh well, cheers mate!

Edited by TheLastSeabass: 12/16/2016 1:21:22 AMFully transparent would be foolish for them to try but even more foolish for them to give that illusion when speaking on weapon balancing. I like the media analogy given what we just went through here in the States. Or, still going through... cheers, bro
