Can't talk about sbmm unless you at least have a positive kd
English
-
Why the -blam!- would a "positive" kd be relevant?
-
Because those without it don't feel the negative effects of sbmm like those who do feel it
-
Well...you had to go and give a reasonable and fair answer.
-
Why in the world do people care about KD so much?
-
Edited by Ekaterine: 11/23/2016 1:40:21 PMIf you can't manage to get one kill per life you have no right to an opinion on how the people who can are treated
-
First, realize that k/d has very little relevance to this argument. Sometimes I hav days where my signal is good, sometimes I hav days when it's bad or someone else's is bad; it really shouldn't affect you if you're as good as you seem to think you are. Second, realize that other people's opinions matter, otherwise this argument never would've started in the first place Third, realize that being rude to others won't make their opinions count any less than yours Plz, don't try to put other people down and respect their opinions
-
So b/c ur really good you get to decide how those who aren't are treated? Bag of dicks bruh, right in your mouth. If there was SBMM in yr1, my k/d would be positive
-
Because you would have been playing other scrubs...
-
This dude man! He's trying to prove himself by making fun of someone else's Kd cause he knows he has no proof lmao
-
Proof of what? He made no statement other than "we love sbmm" which when coming from a scrub means nothing
-
Not what he said. He said that you're a minority trying to speak for a majority. And you insulted his KD as a retort.
-
Because anyone who can't even manage to get 1 kill per life has no right to an opinion on the treatment of those who can and that minority of players are the ones playing pvp the most and thus are the one affected by it the most, in not one but two ways
-
Sorry but I don't think you were talking about KD. You were talking about SBMM. Barely has anything to do with KD. Besides, denying someone's opinion because of their skill in a video game isn't a reasonable thing to do.
-
When their opinion is on a subject about skill then yeah it is 100% reasonable
-
Edited by Analytical Ghost: 11/23/2016 3:55:52 PMTheir argument was on the validity of your opinion because you were in the minority. AKA people who think SBMM needs to go. It has nothing to do with your individual skill. In this situation, it would be like you not liking a test you took in a class and you and maybe another person want the test to be remade and retaken. Then, another average person in your class says "Most of us think the test was fine" and your retort being "you have a 3.0 grade average, you have no opinion right now." Getting the gist?

Edited by Ekaterine: 11/23/2016 4:16:41 PMAnyone who plays avidly plays pvp and takes it seriously is in the minority and if that majority were the ones making all the calls you would have shit like shotguns and strikers getting buffed because one of those people would go "I can't kill good with this make it better for me" Edit: Just looked at your stats and it looks like you would need unlimited MG ammo to do decent so your opinion is also invalid
-
>tmw you look at my stats to prove your point I mainly played raids and did lore. Then I quit to play overwatch. Arguably harder than destiny. Also, your argument is so convoluted. Are you trying to say that if the majority called the shots shotguns would be buffed? Not really. Bungie looks at the data and does buffs to bring things out of the meta. It's why they nerfed suros early in the game, which did destroy auto rifles. Would you like me to check your playstyle to drive my point home as well? I bet I'd find something interesting.
-
tmw someone is so bad they are also in the minority just on the other end
-
Edited by Analytical Ghost: 11/23/2016 5:53:43 PMOh? Minority of people have a negative KD? No. majority of people have .6-.8 kds. I don't care that you are accurate, and I certainly don't care that you think you're good. What I care about is your stance on opinions and majorities. Since you think no one has an opinion unless they have a positive KD in a video game that came out in 2014. The game isn't even about the Pvp. It's an mmorpg. SBMM is a thing that is necessary, as well as CBMM. That's why Destiny uses both. If you think about it, destiny is fine. It's the meta that plagues destiny. And your own internet is to blame, not SBMM. Now that I have the argument on track, you can follow correct? Hopefully you won't go on a tangent about kds in a conversation it isn't relevant in. It would be like me using someone's IQ as a rebuttal in an argument about politics. Unfortunately people still do that. Tl;dr Get back on topic. Don't use irrelevant things as a retort. Think before you speak, and remember this is an Internet forum for a video game.
-
You are 77th percentile, that's minority bud
-
77% out of 100% Are you saying more than 3/4th is minority? Also, you ignored the actual conversation topic I showed you again. Just scroll up and read it if you're having trouble remembering what the conversation is about.
-
Its an Internet forum...everyone has a voice
-
I see it all the time, too!

It's just the forum I guess
