According to Bungie everything is working as intended. All those reports of lag, bad matchmaking against fireteams and disconnects must be our crappy internet connection's fault. Which means that many players over the course of these 3 years must have switched to bad providers and bought outdated routers, because as far as I remember this problem did not exist on such scale during the first year of the game when CBMM was still in place.
This kind of attitude just shows that they just don't care anymore that players leave Destiny. But, Bungie, you must realize that the majority of Destiny player base are your potential player base of Destiny 2? If you can't show your competence now in solving this major problem in a major part of your game how are you gonna persuade anyone to buy another one of your games?
