15 RIP the Dream

Here's your Lore Fun Fact of the day: Bungie confirmed that Eris Morn is a Hunter, so people can stop arguing about that. Part 15 is way too long to fit on the forums so it's back to Google Drive. Sorry for the inconvenience. Right, so you've already seen my other comment regarding how your story should not be placed in #lore, but you do have lore "fun facts" preluding them (which seems like a poor cop-out loophole to give you an excuse to keep positing in #lore if you ask me), but whatever. Let's talk lore.
Here's your Lore Fun Fact of the day: Guardians don't fire regular bullets out of their guns. Each round is infused with Light energy, giving us the ability to destroy powerful Darkness entities with "terrestrial bullets" as Cayde puts it.
So right off the bat, you're making a high claim about the way Guardian weapons function. It's a good theory and all, except that it's completely wrong. First off, let's look at the quote you use to support your claim.
Eris: The Taken are not bound by terrestrial constraints! Cayde:Yeah, I'll bet they'll be constrained by terrestrial bullets.
So, given the quote and the surrounding context, we can infer that Eris is saying that the Taken are not bound by regular earthly (aka terrestrial) things, such as walls, structures, and whatnot. Cayde calls the bullets terrestrial. Meaning earthly, and by very definition themselves, not magical. Or space-magical, I guess. This is also supported by various Cayde/Banshee quotes about how Light abilities are a good compliment to guns, but note that the way that they are talked about suggests that they are separate. Lastly, we can look at the enemy races. Hive weapons are literal magic, and Vex weapons are some sort of Vex energy conduit thing, so the elemental properties makes sense. So what about the Fallen or Cabal? Well, the Fallen utilize shock cores to power their Arc based weapons, and superheat shards of metal for their Solar weaponry. Their Null cannon is said to be some sort of void spike taken from experimentation with the Hive, but we have yet to have seen these void spikes in Hive territory, so we can only assume that the Splicers used the crystals to somehow tap into Void energy. Cabal weaponry is of a similar nature, with the high explosive power of their guns giving it a solar-like quality that comes close enough to the energy to be classified as Solar weaponry in Guardian intel. But where does this leave human weaponry? Well, we're not entirely sure how they're given elemental properties besides the fusion rifles, but I think that it's safe to assume that it's not the Guardians infusing the bullets with Light as they leave the gun. If this was the case, the element would automatically correspond to the equipped subclass being used by the Guardian wielding the weapon. So in Year 1, Titans should have been completely unable to make any of their guns deal Solar damage, yet we see that this isn't the case. I can't really tell you what it actually is, because we don't know. Some theorize that it's some sort of coating on the bullets themselves, or that they're a some sort of elemental source stored within the weapon. There isn't the detail to pin down what gives the weapons their elemental properties, but we can safely conclude that it isn't Light-infused bullets.
