I think TrueVanguard put it best with his critique on microtransactions.
So this isn't my words, but I'll paraphrase him: [i]"I think microtransactions are good for the game, if you really care, then you can put in some money. What I don't like is the delivery of them, and that is instead of having a menu style, where you pick and choose what you want, they have implemented a lottery style. I don't like this because it punishes those people who care enough to put more money into the game for microtransactions."[/i]
I couldn't agree more with him, microtransactions are fine, people who want something can buy it and if you don't, then you don't have to buy in. But they take it too far as to not even give paying players what they want.
