Which final raid boss did you find most challenging?
Figured I'd throw Skolas in there as well.

5 RepliesSkolas because of all the multitasking. You had to pass on the essence, dismantle mines, do dps on the boss, add clear and survive all his shots. And did we ever mentioned that we were all underleveled.

Oryx, purely because if you had new people or were carrying someone (which I did very often) it was near impossible to get through just the ogre phase.

Depends. Are we including glitches or no? If we are, Atheon is my pick. Being teleported while in the containment field was the most frustrating one imo.

Heroic mode Vosik is a close second behind Skolas.

Atheon! Every time I pull my rocket launcher out to dps Atheon shoots it right in front of my face (he has unreal aim) and I die instantly halp!!!

When I finally got GUD, I wore his face like a Mask. Always down for a hard 3 man run. Smells like ass and red bull when its all over. Dealing with Crota pre-TTK, even now his cheese reeks of pestilence. I still like eating it though. Skolas pre-nerf was bungie having "fun" with us, afterwards making it actually accomplishable by people who weren't related to 420McSwagNjuke. Soloing it is the only way to make it hard now and a sword becomes your best friend.

Skolas.... Post nerf. I never beat him before they nerfed him. My buddies and I beat him a couple days later but it took a couple hours and a lot of teamwork.
