Exotic Faction Class Items Broken In Year 3:
The Exotic Class Items you can get at rank 25, (After completing the quest) are broken for "Rise of Iron" and can only be progressed through old faction class items. Please fix this bungie, all you would need to do is add the "Rise of Iron" faction class items to be allowed to progress the quest. Ide really appreciate it: Thanks!!!

I did my FWC quest with a new cloak last week. Worked just fine for me.

1 ReplyWhen you rank up a faction, you'll be given the option to choose between "weapons", "armor", and "chroma". If you chose the "chroma" package you will have a [b][u]chance[/u][/b] of receiving one of the old class items. I hope this helps.

2 RepliesI did the dead orbit one a few days ago. The problem that is affecting you is that the class item cannot be the one from the vendor, as it does not progress the quest (Even if you get the vendor class item from a package it will not work). Try and get a different faction class item from a packages and see if it works.
