Why are people saying they are keeping other characters away from it. As if it really is something dangerous haha it's part of the game and the whole point is to get it and see how it pans out. Don't be worrying about your hunters etc. Don't think they'll be needing any medical attention soon! Like infected people won't be able to play RoI or something haha
On another note anybody know exactly how to get them. Got 2 of them from crucible last night but nothing at all today. Played PvP and PvE. Also ran dust palace strike and I don't seem to be picking up any of the others

You can only get infected once. If it's with a double then that is all you can get on that character. You will have to try on a other to find someone with more. Found out after I was infected with 3 and kept trying to add more.

Does it have to be in one single match in crucible or as long as you don't leave the matchmaking?

As soon as you kill an infected person or get killed by an infected person you will be infected. Some are saying it has to be multiple kills / deaths to trigger. I didn't pay that close attention. I got mine in my first match of Crucible.
