Maybe a buff to the wolfpack rounds would be good? @Bungie
The wolfpack rounds were nerfed for about 33%. So maybe a little buff would be nice? Maybe not a 33% but maybe like 10 or 15%. Beacuse i like the Gjallarhorn and i don't want It to suck. Beacuse Bungie has reduced the velocity and buffed blast radius. If this doe's not happen i Will be fine.
And for all you Y2 players wondering what the heck i'm Talking about? I Will explain. Before TTK we Y1 players had a BIG patch that nerfed and buffed a LOT of guns. And with this patch the Gjallarhorn had its Wolfpack rounds nerfed by 33%. And we Y1 players understand why. It was Very strong and OP. So all i ask for is a little small buff.

Which is why they're willing to hand it out to literally everyone. Let's not forget this is a weapon from Vanilla. People are "excited" for Gally that most Y1 players have had for going on 2 years. The "incentive" is something I already have. Has anyone even seen a single new exotic? (Kvostov is not new either)...... Not to mention the infamous "missing exotics" we were advertised and paid for already, but never got.... I for one am not buying ROI. And do people understand this is THE LAST content "expansion" for the entire year, for "Destiny 1"? You'll only be getting small seasona, after-thought, small team bs after this. I can't wait to read this forum in 6 months... It's going to be funny. Good luck guys. Count me out this time.

63 RepliesI disagree. I get your stance, but Gjallarhorn was SO powerful, that it was THE answer to the entire game. Because there was always a clear [i]best[/i] exotic slot and the heavy slot, it reduced the diversity of equipment used. It also locked people out of fireteams and excluded people who didn't have it. Someone without a G-horn had to either get creative to be valuable to a raid team, find a group of good friends who would go in with them despite the loss of DPS, or simply resign themselves to not being able to consistently engage in any end-game PVE content. No. The Gjallarhorn still hits with bonus damage and that's a good exotic perk, but now its not so OP that no other exotic or heavy weapon matters a damn.

2 RepliesGjallarhorn in Y2 will not be anywhere near as powerful as the Y1 pre-nerf version. Bungie are playing on people's fond memories from using the Ghally, back in the 'good old days'., with the advertising hype for Rise of Iron.

8 RepliesSo sick of hearing "it was broken" and it truly was too op. Guess what EVERYONE, You did not have to use it! Look how powerful the exotic swords are, they are just a great tool to help you mix up and decide how you want to play. Everyone crying that ghorn was broken was just too lazy to switch and learn a different gun. It was great how it was and will never reach that level again, this community is the only thing "broken " with this game!

I'd would agree to the buff simply for the fact everybody will have an actual way to have one. I did see tho how it created issues wen it was random. I was one of the lucky few to get it first raid when the exotic chest was in the abyss for Crota.

I like it as is. Now it's not a requirement for end game activities. It's also now no longer the only choice when it comes to heavy. It's a year one weapon and does just fine in yr one activities. Let's wait till the next update before prematurely making requests for nerfs and buffs.

1 ReplyGuys, Destiny is pretty much an RPG-like game. Of course there are going to be some great, powerful guns to use and some terrible ones you shouldn't use. Instead of asking Bungie to not make great guns, tell them to stop making terrible boss battles. You know why guns like Ghorn & Icebreaker were great during Y1? The bosses demanded it. You couldn't get close due to adds and AoE attacks so hanging back & dealing damage was the most efficient way to beat bosses.

2 RepliesWe need to start worrying less about what's broken and more about what's fun. Maybe Blackhammer, Icebreaker and Gjally were a little too good but isn't the point of a game like this to feel powerful? Currently, I mostly feel pretty ordinary.

We should be op in PvE. It doesn't make sense to me to nerf the weapons we love and adore in PvE so the missions will last longer. I had way more fun nuking things in year one.
