When I receive the "Unable to join fireteam" message, a hard reset fixes the problem. Hope that helps you diagnose the issue.

  • ...but today, no amount of hard resets lets either of us join each other. XB1, same house, both wired connections, never an issue before update.

  • It's an ongoing issue plaguing the community that Bungie will not address. We are all left hanging waiting for a response. We have hard reset, uninstalled and reinstalled, checked modem/router settings, switched systems from hard lined to wireless to opposite..nothing. All of these work arounds would be a solution if it was an issue with our systems. It is not though since it is an issue that was created by Bungie in their patches. Good luck..hopefully they stop ignoring us.

  • On ps4 also. Frustrating as anything. I've done all the same troubleshooting with reinstall of game. Last night 3 of my friends got the same message unable to join firetem, then 3 animal codes at once. (Beaver and 2 others). It is so bad we just shut the game off. Can't play with my husband either. He's hardwired and I'm WiFi. Glad they are "aware" but where's the resolution?

  • Exactly..I am not tech savvy enough to say I could do a better job then what's going on in Bungies world. But I can say as far as customer service goes...there could be a huge improvement. Leaving their customers in the dark is not OK, they don't have to have the answer immediately, but they could admit their faults and take the time to address the community other than the ridiculous statements they have made.
